This was the 32nd and last mission of William Wigham's first tour of duty.

|
101 Squadron operations with the Wellington continued until September 1942 when the unit was transferred to 3 Group of Bomber Command and the Lancaster replaced the Wellington. These are the squadron's further combat losses through to September 1942:. Many of the men featured on the group photograph, as noted below, were casualties on these raids
